In his artistic practice based on alternative strategies of storytelling, the Bratislava based artist András Cséfalvay seeks new perspectives on the functioning of knowledge and language, as well as on the effects of science on our interpretation of reality in his solo show at the Trafó Gallery in Budapest.

We chose a new theme for our participating artists for the 4th station of our Pessach exhibitions. This year the core theme is the history of medieval Spanish and Portuguese Jewish history, but as usual in our gallery, the final works are layered than as illustrations of the stories.

Dávid Biró examines light as a significant root of life and technology. In his works, he focuses on understanding the rapport of natural and artificial light, and he presents this by using the potentials of photography for mediation.

Easttopics is dedicated to the promotion of the Eastern European contemporary art field. Working as a think tank for the Eastern European art communities, Easttopics is a genuinely interdisciplinary cooperative which goal is to draw the Eastern contemporary art field and the international art scene closer to each other.
